Flixonase aqueous nasal spray in the treatment of allergic rhinitis

Objective To assess the efficacy of flixonase (fluticasone propionate) aqueous nasal spray (a patent product of Glaxo Smithkline) in treatment of allergic rhinitis Methods Thirty six people of both sexes,aged 10～60years with allergic rhinitis were included in this study,who were randomly selected to be treated with flixonase for 3 weeks Investigators made a global evaluation with symptom scores before treatment and two and four weeks after treatment Results An improvement was shown in two weeks after treatment with statistical significance ( P 0 01) Conclusion Owing to its fast acting,effectiveness,good tolerance and convenience in use,flixonase is a better choice to allergic rhinitis
