The Evaluation of Clinical Efficacy of Sublingual Immunotherapy in the Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis

Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of sublingual immunotherapy(SLIT) in the treatment of allergic rhinitis(AR) and investigate the treatment measures to improve the clinical effect of AR.Methods: 76 allergic rhinitis patients were collected and randomly divided into the control group(n=40) and the observation group(n=36),the allergic rhinitis symptom score,allergic rhinitis signs score,clinical effect and incidence of adverse reactions after twelve months' treatment were observed and compared between two groups.Results: Before treatment,no significance of allergic rhinitis symptom score and allergic rhinitis signs score was found between the two groups(P0.05);after 12-month treatment,the allergic rhinitis symptom score and allergic rhinitis signs score of both groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P0.05),and they are significantly lower in observaton group than those in control group(P 0.05).The total efficiencyof control group and observation group were 87.5% and 100.0% respectively(P 0.05).In addition,no significance of incidece rate of adverse reactions was found between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion: SLIT method was effective and safe to treat AR,it,was worth being popularized and deeply researched.
