Effects of blood physiological and biochemical indices with “Sheng-ming-yuan” to chronic injury model induced on Boer goats by carbon tetrachloride

Abstract
A total of 18 three-month-old male goats were assigned randomly to three groups with six goats each and intramuscularly injected with 1.0 mL(control group,groupⅠ),1.0 mL(model group,group Ⅱ) and 1.0 mL(intervention group,group Ⅲ) per kilogram body weight by the colza oil,the colza oil dosage form of 50% carbon tetrachloride and the colza oil dosage form of 50% carbon tetrachloride with Sheng-ming-yuan.The blood routine test and liver function were measured on the day before injection and after 6,12,18,24 and 30 d of injecting the medicine.Results showed that:(1) compared with the control group,the red blood cell and the hemoglobin and leukocyte in model group had significantly difference(P0.05) from 0 to 30 days after injection.While,compared with the control group,the red blood cell and the hemoglobin and leukocyte in intervention group had significantly difference(P0.05) at 6 d and 12 d after injection;(2) compared with the control group,the TP and GLO in model group had significantly difference(P0.05) from 18 to 30 days after injection;compared with the control group,the TP and GLO in intervention group had no significantly difference from 0 to 30 days after injection;compared with the control group,the ALB in model group had significantly lower(P0.05) content from 0 to 30 days after injection;compared with the control group,the ALB in intervention group had significantly difference(P0.05) at 6 d after injection;compared with the control group,the A/G in model group and intervention group had significantly lower(P0.01) content from 0 to 30 days after injection;compared with the model group,the A/G in intervention group had significantly difference from 6 to 30 days after injection.The results implied that injection of Sheng-ming-yuan could effectively reduce the body's inflammatory response caused by CCl4,and could obviously protect the liver cell and improve the synthesis of plasma protein.
