Abstract

Objective To investigate the high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), homocysteine(Hcy) and Interleukin-6(IL-6) expression in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods From January 2011 to October 2013, 79 cases of acute cerebral infarction patients in our hospital were enrolled in our study. 85 cases of healthy people were collected as control. Hcy, hs-CRP and IL-6 were tested before and after treatment. Results Compared with the control, Hcy, hs-CRP and IL-6 were higher when admission(P 0.01), 1 day of hospitalization, compared with admission, Hcy, hs-CRP and IL-6 were significantly higher(P 0.05). After 4 days' treatment, Hcy, hs-CRP and IL-6 were decreased(P 0.05). After 9 days' treatment, Hcy, hs-CRP and IL-6 were decreased to normal. Hcy and hs-CRP, Hcy and IL-6, Hcy and IL-6 were positively correlated(P 0.01). During treatment, seven cases of patients died. Compared with pro-treatment, after 9 days' treatment, NIHSS score was significantly lower(26.4±3.9 vs 15.2±4.2,P 0.05). Conclusion The hs-CRP, Hcy and IL-6 have important reference value in diagnosis and treatment of acute cerebral infarction.
