Abstract

OBJECTIVE To probe into the clinical significance of detection on homocysteine and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in patients with acute cerebral infarction.METHODS Selected 102 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to Neurology Department in our hospital from August 2009 to October 2011 as research group.In addition,selected 154 healthy cases in our hospital during the same period as control group.All cases' fasting blood in the two groups was taken with in the morning.Hcy contents were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Hs-CRP contents were detected by scattering method.The Hcy and hs-CRP concentration of patients in two groups with different neurological deficits and infarct volume were compared respectively.RESULTS Compared with control healthy group,the Hcy and hs-CRP contents in patients of study were significantly increased,there were significant differences(P﹤0.05).Compared with mild neurological deficits patients,the Hcy and hs-CRP contents in moderate and severe neurological deficits patients were significantly increased,there were significant differences(P﹤0.05).Compared with small infarction patients,the Hcy and hs-CRP contents in medium and large infarction patients were significantly increased,there were significant differences(P﹤0.05).CONCLUSION It has a great clinical significance in detecting homocysteine and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in patients with acute cerebral infarction for prevention and early diagnosis.
