Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficaly of limbal epithelial transplantation and mitomycin C in the treatment of pterygium. Methods : 32 cases with pterygium had been treated by remove pterygium with limbal epithelial transplantation and mitomycin C, while 32 cases pterygium treated only with limbal epithelial transplantatioa Results:The differences were significant in the two groups (P0. 05) ,The recurrence rate of pterygium was lower in the group treated with mitomycin C than that in the other group. Conclusion: Pterygium excision with limbal epithelial transplantation combin with mitomycin C can significanty prevent the recruence of petrygium.
