Abstract
Objective:To study the chemical components of the ethyl acetate extract from Semen herpetospermi.Method:The separation and purification of this extract were conducted by means of silica gels column chromatography. The structures of the compounds were elucidated based on the physical and chemical features, and spectrum data.Result:Seven compounds were isolated and identified as:stigmasterol(I),herpetolide B(II),herpetolide A((Ⅲ),herpetone(Ⅳ),uracil(Ⅴ),herpetotriol(Ⅵ),spinasterol glycoside(Ⅶ).Conclusion:The compound Ⅶ is obtained from this plant for the first time.
