Abstract

Objective:To investigate the curative effects of Chaihujialonggumulitang decoction in women with perimenopausal insomnia. Methods:Seventy three cases of perimenopausal insomnia patients were randomly divided into treatment group(n=35) and control group(n=38).Patients in the treatment group were treated with Chaihujialonggumulitang decoction and patients in the control group were treated with diazepam tablets for 4 weeks. The curative effects and the SDRS scores of both groups were observed before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 91.42% and 68.42%,respectively(P0.05).Compared with before treatment, the SDRS scores in both groups significantly decreased after treatment(P0.05).the SDRS scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment(P0.05).The treatment group also had less adverse effects than the control group. Conclusions: Chaihujialonggumulitang decoction has positive curative effects and high safety in treating perimenopausal insomnia.
