Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of curcumin on growth and proliferation in CNE-2Z-H5 cells. Methods:Cells growth curves,MTT assay and plate colony formation rate were used to identify the effects of curcumin on growth and proliferation of CNE-2Z-H5 cells. Results:The growth and proliferation of CNE-2Z-H5 cells were inhibited significantly by curcumin compared with the control group, which was in dose dependent manner. At the same time when the dose of curcumin was higher, curcumin also could kill CNE-2Z-H5 cells obviously in vitro. Conclusion:The curcumin can inhibit the growth and proliferation of CNE-2Z-H5 cells effectively. It has applicable value in therapy of NPC.
