Abstract
Objective To observe the impact of Curcumin on cell proliferation and cell cycle in nasopharyngeal cell line CNE-1.Methods The inhibited rates of the proliferation were determined by MTT assay.Cell cycle and apoptosis were analyze by flow cytometry.Results Cells were treated with Curcumin in various concentrations for 48h respectively.The proliferation of inhibited rates increased with concentration.The cell growth was arrested at G2/M stage.And aneuploid peak was observed by FCM.Conclusions Curcumin can inhibit the proliferation of CNE-1 cells.The inhibition depends on dose can arrest CNE-1 cells in G2/M phase and induces cells apoptosis.
