Abstract

Objective To study the clinic effect of mifepristone on dysfunctional uterine bleeding in perimenopausal. Methods This study chooses 57 patients who were diagnosed as dysfunctional uterine bleeding in perimenopausal in the People's Hospital of Dong Guan city, these patients were treated with mifepristone 12.5 mg,orally taken on empty stomach, once a day before sleep every evening for 6 successive months, and detect 6 sex hormone blood routine examination, the liver and kidney functions, observe menstrual and at the same time measure the thickness of endometrium by B-ultrasonic before and 3 months and 6 months after treatment respectively. Results All the patients were amenorrhea during the period of taking medicine,FSH,LH,PRL and T serum levels of the three groups unchanged significantly, and the difference of E2 and P serum levels' decreasing is statistically significant(P0.01);Endometrium were thinner and atrophy from(1.0±0.3) cm to(0.4±0.2) cm(P0.05);Hemoglobin and anaemia had been improved in varying degree. Conclusion Treatment of dysfunctional uterine bleeding in perimenopausal with Mifepristone is a safe and validity method, which is deserved the clinical expansion.
