Abstract

Objective: To investigate the clinical effects of mifepristone in the treatment of perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Methods: 36 perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding patients who treated in our hospital fromSep.2010 to June 2011 were selected, and orally given mifepristone tablets,10 mg once a day,and three consecutive months was a course. Results: Amenorrhea appeared in all patients during treatment, the total effective rate was 100%.After treatment the patients serum estradiol and progesterone levels decreased significantly(P0.05)than before treatment. Conclusion: Mifepristone has advantages of obvious effect, safety, reliability,no significant side effects in treatment of perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding, and worthy of clinical application.
