A Study on the Building of a Teaching Team for an Undergraduate Comprehensive Applied Engineering Course

It is significant to strengthen the building of a high standard teaching team for further promoting teaching reform and discipline construction as well as for teacher development,teaching improvement and talent training in colleges and universities.Compared with other college courses,comprehensive courses are more demanding for teachers in that teachers must have the knowledge of engineering practices as well as the ability to plan,organize and implement projects,etc.Thus building a teaching team for a comprehensive engineering course has its own characteristics.Therefore,it plays a decisive role in applied undergraduate engineering personnel training.Based on the analysis of the previous relevant experiences,several suggestions are given.It involves team composition,team leader,team culture;improvement of team members' quality,team's teaching and teaching research as well as team's teaching material construction.
