Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance the platelet membrane glycoproteins in patients with cerebral infarction. Method The platelet membrane glycoprotein CD62P and CD63 of the peripheral blood from 68 patients with cerebral infarction and 20 healthy subjects were studied by flow cytometry. Results The positive rate of CD62P and CD63 in patients with cerebral infarction was higher than that in the normal. Moreover the positive rate of CD62P and CD63 in 3 days was higher than that in 14 days after stroke( P 0.01). Conclusion The platelet activation increases after cerebral stroke. Inhibition of platelet activation may be a way to prevent and treat cerebral infarction.
