Abstract
Objective:To observe effect of Zhenwu decoction on renal function in the chronic renal failure(CRF) rats.Methods:Rat model of Chronic renal failure was established by adenine administration after unilateral nephrectomy.Zhenwu decoction group gavaged by Zhenwu decoction for 28 days.Body weight,24 h urine and 24 h urinary protein were measured in every seven days.After 4 weeks,blood samples were taken from the femoral artery.RBC,Hb,serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen,serum calcium and phosphorus were detected. Results:Zhenwu decoction group better than model group in 24h urinary protein,serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen, serum phosphorus,Serum Calcium.Conclusions:Zhenwu decoction has a protective effect on renal function in rats with chronic renal failure induced by adenine after unilateral nephrectomy.
