Teaching Reform of College English in the Concept of General Education

This paper first introduces the connotation of the general education,pointing out that the concept of general education will bring about new ways and methods for the teaching reform of College English.Finally,a series of reform in the college English teaching concept,curricula,teaching methods,teaching techniques and teaching evaluation are suggested.
