Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of reduced glutathione in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation liver damage.Methods:60 cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with clinical data of patients with liver damage in our hospital in September 2007 to July 2010 were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases) and control group(30 cases),two group patients were treated with basic therapy and liver, treatment group increased reduced glutathione, treated 10 days, compared two groups of patients with liver function recovery, and two groups of patients length of stay, hospital costs. Results:The treatment group 21 cases had marked effect, effective in 7 cases,2 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 93.33%;control group 18 cases had marked effect, effective in 6 cases,6 cases ineffective, the total efficiency was 80.00%,the treatment group were significantly better than control group, the difference between the two groups were statistically significant(P0.05);The hospitalization days, hospital costs of treatment group were lower compared with the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The effect of glutathione in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with liver damage is satisfactory,is worth using in clinic.
