Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the infection status and antimicrobial resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) from female genitourinary tract and provide experimental evidence for the clinical application of antibiotics.METHODS The Uu cultivation and drug susceptibility tests were performed for 601 genitourinary tract specimen by kit produced by Zhuhai DLmedical limited co.RESULTS The total positive detection rate of Uu was 31.1%.The susceptibility tests results indicated that the sensitivity rates of Uu to quinolones, such as ciprofloxacin(9.1%) and ofloxacin(15.0%),were the lowest. The sensitivity rate of tetracycline,Josamycin, doxycycline, clarithromycin and minocycline were all above 70%.CONCLUSION The varying antimicrobial resistance to different commonly used antibiotics occurrs in Uu isolated from the local region. The routine assays of Uu cultivation and drug susceptibility tests are necessary for the correct clinical diagnosis and anti-infective therapy.
