Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the antimicrobial resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) causing genitourinary tract infection in female and provide reference for the clinical application of antibiotics.METHODS The Uu culture and drug susceptibility testing were performed for 833 female patients with genitourinary tract infections by Mycoplasma kit(Zhuhai DL Medical Biotech LTD).RESULTS The positive rate of Uu was 52.9%.The antibiotics josamycin,doxycycline,minocycline,and clarithromycin had high susceptibility rates to Uu(70.0%);quinolones such as ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin had the lowest susceptibility rates,which was 9.3% and 15.6% respectively.CONCLUSION The clinician should strengthen the monitoring of antimicrobial resistance of Uu and rationally use antibiotics base on drug susceptibility testing results,so as to improve the clinical cure rate of Uu infection.
