Abstract
Objective To Analysize and research the clinical effect of azithromycin on treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumonia.Method There were 90 cases of children with mycoplasma pneumonia during February 2011 to January 2013 in our hospital, randomly divided into experimental group(45 cases) and control group(45 cases),on the basis of conventional treatment, control group were given erythromycin, the experimental group were given azithromycin for treatment, compared curative effect and adverse reactions between two groups. Results The total effective rate was 100% in experimental group, compared with the control group(95.6%),with no significant difference(P 0.05),but the cure rate(93.3%) is significantly higher than the control group(80%),and effective treatment time and the incidence of adverse reactions were significantly lower than control group, with significant differences(P 0.05).Conclusion compared with erythromycin, the effect of azithromycin on treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumonia is good, and the incidence of adverse reactions is lower,it should be applied in clinical.
