Study on 68cases of chronic atrophic gastritis caused by deficiency of stomach yin treated with Shihuyangwei Decoction

Abstract

[Objective]To observe the clinical efficacy of Shihuyangwei Decoction in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis due to deficiency of stomach yin.[Methods]One hundred and thirty-six cases of chronic atrophic gastritis were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was given Shihuyangwei Decoction,the control group given Weifuchun tablet.Changes of TCM syndrome scores and endoscopic gastric mucosa of the two groups were observed.[Results]The total effective rate was 88.24%in the treatment group and 70.59%in the control group respectively,indicating statistically significant difference(P0.05).[Conclusion]Shihuyangwei Decoction is remarkably effective for chronic atrophic gastritis caused by deficiency of stomach yin.
