Characteristics and Cultivation Techniques of Maize Hybrid 'Danyu No.53'

Danyu No.53 is a single hybrid which was bred in Dandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences by crossing Dan529 as female parent and Dan598 as male parent.It was indicated from every dgree of grain yield tests and demonstration that Danyu No.53 can increase 5 percent of grain yield more than the hybrids using in production and has the character of resistance to many diseases,lodging and drought,medium maturity and wide adaptation.Danyu No.53 is a good hybrid that can be planted for large area in northern spring maize planting area.
