Selection of Maize Hybrid Danyu 59

Maize hybrid Danyu 59 was bred in Dandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the winter of 1998 by crossing Dan T135 as the female parent and Dan 340 as the male parent.It was indicated from every degree of grain yield tests and demonstration that Danyu 59 has the character of high and steady grain yield,resistance to many diseases,lodging and drought,medium maturity and wide adaptation.Danyu 59 is a good moderate maize hybrid.
