Practice and new continuous casting technologies of bloom continuous caster

For the purpose of enhancing the quality of heavy rail product and adjusting the product structure of Baotou Steel(Group) Corporation, a new domestically designed 6 strands bloom arc type continuous casting machine was built.Many new technologies were employed in the bloom continuous casting machine to improve the quality of heavy rail steel bloom,especially dynamic soft reduction technology.It is the first time to use dynamic soft reduction technology at bloom continuous caster in China.As a result,the technique of dynamic soft reduction has not monopolized by overseas companies,which has great creative significance for China.
