Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the infection status and antimicrobial resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) from patients with nongonococcal urethritis and provide experimental evidence for the clinical anti-infection treatment.METHODS A total of 1342 cases of genitourinary tract specimens from patients with nongonococcal urethritis were collected by aseptic technique. The Uu cultivation and drug susceptibility testing were performed using kit produced by Zhuhai DL medical Co,Ltd.RESULTS The total positive detection rate of Uu was 31.9%.The susceptibility test results indicated that susceptibility rate of quinolones, such as ciprofloxacin(9.3%) and ofloxacin(15.9%) were the lowest. The susceptibility rates of Josamycin, tetracycline, doxycycline, clarithromycin and minocycline were all above 70%.CONCLUSION The varying antimicrobial resistance to different commonly used antibiotics occurs in Uu.Therefore,it is important to increase the rate of sample delivery for Uu assays for timely clinical diagnosis and increasing the cure rate.
