Abstract
Objective: To improve the diagnostic levels of primary gastric malignant lymphoma by discussing its clinical characteristics and endoscopic shows. Methods: The data of 20 patients with gastric malignant lymphoma was reviewed. Results: The clinical symptom of gastric malignant lymphoma was multimophic, including stomachache, marasmus, inappetance, black dejecta, vomit and fever. Gastroscopy revealed that in most patients the body of stomach was involved by the primary gastric malignant lymphoma. The major lesion of the stomach body consisted of ulceration, tumour, infiltration, incrassation or node in the mucosa. Positive findings by biopsies attained 80%. The percentage rose up if more biopsies taken from multiple sites, deep bites and mucosal strips. Conclusion: Gastroscopy remains to be a valuable means in the diagnosis of gastric malignant lymphoma.
