Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical significances and value of elevation in serum enzymes for asphyxia neonatorum in initial stage after parturition by analyzing the correlation of the changes in serum enzymes and the degree of asphyxia in newborn in the initial stage after birth.Methods Retrospective analyze the serum enzymes(AST,LDH,CK,HBDH) changes in initial 3 hours stage after birth for 89 asphyxia newborum cases ,which were divided into two groups by Apgar score at 1 minute of age,severe asphyxia group(0≤Apgar≤3 ) and slight asphyxia group(4≤Apgar≤7).Compare the serum enzymes of both group.Result Compared with slight asphyxia group,the level of serum enzymes incresed in severe asphyxia group.But only LDH showed significant difference.Conclusions Hypoxia and asphyxia can lead to serum enzymes increase.And the level of serum enzymes correlated with the degree of asphyxia.But the changes of the enzymes were not significant in the initial few hours. So we have to observe the serum enzymes dynamically.
