Abstract

Objective:To discusses of the changes of myocardial enzymes activity influencing on asphyxia neonatorum by the test of myocardial enzymes activity.Methods:118 cases with asphyxia neonatorum in hospital for treatment from November 2008 to July 2009 were divided into the mild asphyxia group and the severe asphyxia group, and another 60 cas es of healthy newborn was selected as the control group.Three groups of patients were detected on the activity of LDH,CK,CK-MB and AST,and the results were compared and analyzed. Results:The myocardial enzymes activity of asphyxia neonatorum group were significantly higher than the control group (P0.05),and the severe asphyxia group was significantly increased than the mild asphyxia group, too (P0.05).Conclusion:The serum myocardial enzymes activity changes significantly during newborn choking,so the index above-mentioned can be used as an important observation of myocardial in jury resulted by asphyxia neonatorum.
