Abstract

Objective:To study the protective effects of Cyclovirohuxine D on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats.Methods:30 SD rats were randomly divided into three groups:sham operative group, model group and Cyclovirohuxine D group. The activities of MDA and SOD were determined after myocardial ischemia 30min and reperfusion 60min.Results:Compared with model group, the level of MDA was decreased and level of SOD was increased in serum and cardiac muscle of Cyclovirohuxine D group. Conclusion:Protective effects of Cyclovirohuxine D on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats is outstanding, which is possibly correlative with resisting lipid peroxides and clearing oxygen free radical.
