Abstract

Objective To investigate the protective effects of dihydrolycorine(DL) on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. Methods Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury model was established by occluding coronary artery ischemia for 30 minutes then reperfusion for 2 hours in rat.Different dosage of Dihydrolycorine (10,20,40 mg·kg-1) were respectively given at 15 minutes before the coronary artery occlusion, and normal saline were given in both sham operation group and model group. The change of ST segment in electrocardiogram, the activities of serum lactate dehdrogenase (LDH) and creatine kinase (CK),the enzyme activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD),the contents of malondialdehyde (MDA) were determined and analyzed during different groups. Results Compared with model group, the ST segment elevation, the activities of CK and LDH,the contents of MDA were all significantly decreased, but the activity of SOD was significantly increased in DL groups. The effects of DL(20,40 mg·kg-1) groups were more obviously(P0.05 or P0.01).Conclusion DL may have a protective effect on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats, which may relate with the decreasing of myocardial lipid peroxidation and increasing the ability of myocardial against oxidant-induced injury.
