Clinical Study on the Appliation of rhEGF in Skin Expansion

Objective To study the clinical effect of rhEGF in skin expansion.Methods 32 cases with 78 expanders planted were randomly divided into 2 groups:treatment group and control group;routine expansion was applied to both groups while injection of rhEGF into the expander was added to treatment group;self-control was adopted,the expansion rate and the immediate stretch-back rate of both groups were detected.Results The time for expanding to nominal capacity in treatment group was shorter than that in control group(P0.05)and its expansion rate was higher than that of control group(P0.01).Conclusions rhEGF can accelerate the expansion of skin flap,reduce its stretch-back rate-increaseits quality and improve the curative effect.
