Influence of Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction on Level of TNF-α in Esophagus and Serum of RE Rats

Objective: To observe the efficacy of Xuanfu Daizhe decoction on the level of TNF-α in esophagus and serum of RE rat.Method:110 Wistar rats were randomized into control group,sham-operated group and model group.On the fifth day after the model was made,the model group was randomized into model control group and treatment group.The latter was again randomized into Xuanfu Daizhe decoction group,modified Xuanfu Daizhe decoction with double of the herbs sweet in flavor and of tonifying group,and western medicine group.The expressions of TNF-α in esophagus and serum of these rats were observed on the 14th day of medication.Result:The level of TNF-α in esophagus was significantly lower in treatment group than in model group(P0.05)and compared with the western medicine group,the levels in Xuanfu Daizhe decoction and the modified Xuanfu Daizhe decoction group were much lower(P0.05).Conclusion:Xuanfu Daizhe decoction managed to treat GRED by controlling the level of TNF-α in esophagus and serum,reducing inflammatory response as well as regulating the contraction and relaxation of esophagus.
