Research on Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction′s Ability on Improving Gastric Motility of Different Types of Diabetic Gastroparesis(DGP)Patients

Abstract

Objective:To observe Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction′s ability on improving gastric motility of different types of diabetic gastroparesis(DGP)patients.Methods:78 patients were divided into 3 groups:liver and stomach disharmony group(group 1),body fluid damage due to stomach-heat group(group 2),weakness of stomach and spleen group(group 3).The bigger dose(1 Liang=15.625g)of Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction was used for three of the groups,one dosage a day,consecutively for 4 weeks.The immunohistochemistry method was used to observe the distribution changes of MOT,VIP and GAS in the plasma before and after the treatment.Results:Group 3 had obvious increase of MOT in plasma(P0.01),VIP expression decreased obviously(P0.01),and GAS expression decreased obviously(P0.01),which had statistics difference from the other 2 groups.Conclusion:The effect of Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction on improving gastric motility is the most obvious in weakness of stomach and spleen group.
