Abstract
In order to explore the chromosome abnormality and its clinical significance in antenatal diagnosis for couples with teratosis or fetal death or habitual abortion, cytogenetical examination and retrospective karyotype analysis were performed in 776 patients with teratosis or fetal death or habitual abortion It was found that 25 cases in 776 cases were with chromosome abnormality, accounting for 3.2% (8 males,17 females ).Autosome anomaly were present in 18 cases, including 13 equilibrium translocation,5 pericentric inversion,1 number abnormality Anomaly of sex chromosome were present in 7 cases Therefore,it can be said that chromosome abnormality is one of the main causes of couples with teratosis or fetal death or habitual abortion, and karyotype analysis of chromosome is an absolutely necessary method for the cause seeking and genetic counselling of couples with teratosis or fetal death or habitual abortion The instruction is necessary for the next gestation
