The Effect of Amlodipine and Perindopril on Heart and Renal Functions in Patients with Enssential Hypertension

Objective:To examine the effects of Amlodipine(Amlo) and perindopril(peri) used individually or in combination on heart and renal functions in patients with essential hypertension(EH).Methods:One hundred and twenty cases with EH were divided randomly into three groups: group A: Amlo 5mg QD,n=40;group B: peri 4mg QD,n=40;group C:Amlo 5mgQD+peri4mg,n=40,treatment lasted for 24 weeks,parameter of Blood pressurel(BP),pulse pressure(pp) heart Rate(HR),6-minute working test(6-mwt) NYHA,24 h urinary albumin urine protein,BUN,Cr were measured before and after treatment.Results:After treatment BP and HR were significantly less than those before treatment in all the three groups.But SBP in group C were decreased than groups A and B,pp were decreased significantly than A、B group,6-mwt,NYHA were improved,urinary albumin proteinuria,BUN,Cr excretion were signicanfitly decreased after treatment of three groups.The results in group C were better than groups A and B.Conclusion: The data suggest that one of the beneficial effects and safes on Amlodipine conbined with perindopril treatment has achieved.They have effect on BP,PP,HR and improved the heart and renal function.
