Abstract
The axillary bud and plantlet regeneration were studied on different plant hormone combination media taking Scatellaria baicalensis Georgi stem as explant. The results showed that MS+6-BA 1.5mg/L+IBA 0.2mg/L was an appropriate culture medium for germination and growing of axillary buds;the best medium for propagation of buds was MS+6-BA 1.0mg/L+IBA 0.5mg/L,the coefficient of propagation was upon to 11.9;the best rooting medium was 1/2 MS+IBA 0.5mg/L,in which the rooting rate reached 90%.
