Abstract
Objective To explore the expressions of SI00A4 and E-cadherin in non - small cell lung cancer and its sig- nificance. Methods The expressions of S100A4 and E-cadherin in non-small cell lung cancer were assessed by using immunohistochemistry SP method.Correlation between the expressions and clinicopathological features was statistically ana- lyzed. Results The expression of S100A4 had positive correlation with histological grading and lymph node metastasis(P<0.01).The expression of E-cadherin had negative correlation with histological grading and lymph node metastasis(P<0.01).Conclusion The expression of S100A4 and loss of E-cadherin expression are both significantly associated with tu- mor progression in non-small cell lung cancer, which are the valuable markers in predicting biological behavior and trend of metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
