Abstract
Objective:To explore the expression of E-cadherin,CD44V6 and HLA-DR in non-small cell lung cancer tissues and its clinical significance. Methods:Paraffin embedded tissues from 65 cases with non-small cell lung cancer were observed for expression of E-cadherin,CD44V6 and HLA-DR by immunohistochemistry (ABC method), the relationship between these expression and clinical pathology feature was analyzed. Results:The positive expression rate of E-cadherin,CD44V6 and HLA-DR in lung cancer was 53.8%(35/65),58.5%(38/65) and 53.8%(35/65) respectively. The expression of E-cadherin and CD44V6 were closely related to lymph node metastasis, no related to histological typing. Lung cancer with lymph node metastasis showed no higher expression of HLA-DR than lung cancer without lymph node metastasis. There was a distinct statistic difference between HLA-DR in adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. The expression of E-cadherin,CD44V6 and HLA-DR was closely related to pathological grading and clinical stage. Conclusion:Expression of E-cadherin,CD44V6 and HLA-DR played an important role in the genesis, development and metastasis of lung carcinoma. Combined determination might be an important significance for judging biological behavior.
