Abstract

Objective:To study the expressions of CD44v6 and E-cadherin in NSCLC and observe the correlation between CD44v6 and E-cadherin with prognosis of lung cancer and biological behavior. Methods:We observed 66 case of lung cancer and 10 case of normal tissues with S-P immunochemical technique. Results:It was found that the positive expression rates of CD44v6 was positively related to clinical stages and lymph node metastasis.Meanwhile,Abnormal expression rates of E-cadherin was negatively correlated with pathological grades and lymph node metastasis. The correlation between expressions CD44v6 and E-cadherin was significant in NSCLC.Conclusion:The expression rate of CD44v6 and E-cadherin in NSCLC might be an important biological marker in NSCLC and it might be useful in the study of biological behavior and in the prognosis of lung cancer.
