Abstract

To evaluate the expression of microvessel density(MVD) in colorectal carcinoma and its clinical significance. Methods:The Ⅷ Rag expression was measured by S P immunohistochemical method.MVD in the colorectal carcinoma tissue was assayed. Results:Of the 59 cases of colorectal carcinoma studied, MVD was higher expressed in carcinoma with lymph node involvement than that without lymph node involvement(P0 05).The analysis demonstrated that the 5 year survival rate in patients with lower MVD expression was better than that of those with higher MVD expression. Conclusion:The expression of microvessel density has a significant correlation to the biological behavior and prognosis of patients with colorectal carcinoma (P0 05). keywirds
