Abstract

Objective To study the expression of HSP27 and MMP9 in colorectal adenocarcinoma. Methods 62 cases of Intestinal biopsy specimens of colorectal adenocarcinoma and 20 normal adjacent intestinal mucosal tissues were collected. The expression of HSP27 and MMP9 was detected by immunohistochemical staining(SP method). Results The positive rates of HSP27 and MMP9 protein was significantly higher in colorectal adenocarcinoma group than that in normal intestinal mucosa group(P0.01).The positive rates of HSP27 and MMP9 protein was significantly higher in poorly differentiated colorectal adenocarcinoma and with lymph node metastasis than that in well-differentiated colorectal adenocarcinoma and non-lymph node metastasis(P0.05 or 0.01).Conclusion The expression of HSP27 and MMP9 has synergistic effect for the occurrence, differentiation, infiltration and transfer of colorectal adenocarcinoma.
