Abstract
Based on the evaluation index system of the balanced development of compulsory education published by the Ministry of Education in May,2012,the evaluation research of the balanced development of urban and rural compulsory education in Duodao district shows that: there are still gaps between the balanced development of compulsory education in Duodao district and the compulsory education balanced development requirements of the Ministry of Education;and the evaluation index system published by the Ministry of Educational has some deficiencies in terms of the evaluation practice.
