Clinical observation of “Chaishao Liujun Decoction” in treating chronic hepatitis B of liver depression and spleen deficiency

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy ofChaishao Liujun Decoctionin the treatment of chronic hepatitis B of liver depression and spleen deficiency.Methods Seventy-six subjects were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 38 cases were treated byChaishao Liujun Decoctionand control group in which 38 cases were treated byHugan Tablet,with a course of two months.Results The overall effective rate was 86.84% in the treatment group and 73.68% in the control group(P0.05);the symptom scores were decreased in both groups(P0.01),with lower score in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.05);after treatment,the contents of ALT and AST were reduced in both groups(P0.01),with lower content in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Chaishao Liujun Decoctionis quite effective for chronic hepatitis B of liver depression and spleen deficiency.
