Therapeutic Effect of Chaishao Liujun Shuizhi Decoction for Hepatic Cirrhosis at Compensation Stage After Type B Hepatitis:An Observation of 48 Cases

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Chaishao Liujun Shuizhi decoction for hepatic cirrhosis at compensation stage after type B hepatitis.Methods:Ninety-six post-hepatitis B cirrhosis at compensation stage were randomized into two groups.Chinese medicine group was given oral use of Chaishao Liujun Shuizhi decoction based on routine western medical treatment,and western medicine group was given routine western medical treatment alone.Results:The markedly effective rate was 52.08%,and total effective rate was 95.83% in Chinese medicine group.In western medicine group,the markedly effective rate was 27.08%,and total effective rate was 79.17%.The differences were significant between the two groups(P 0.05).After treatment,alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBil),and the ratio of albumin/globumin(A/G) were improved to various degrees in both groups(P 0.05,P 0.01),and the improvemnent in Chinese medicine group was superior to that in western medicine group(P 0.05).Hyaluronidase(HA),laminin(LN),precollagen type Ⅲ(PCⅢ)and precollagen type Ⅳ(PCⅣ)were also decreased to various degrees in both groups(P 0.05,P 0.01),and the decrease in Chinese medicine group was superior to that in western medicine group(P 0.05).Conclusion:Chaishao Liujun Shuizhi decoction shows certain effect for the treatment of hepatic cirrhosis at compensation stage after type B hepatitis.
