Abstract
This paper use the methods of relative carrying capacity of resources. The relative carrying capacity of land resources, relative carrying of economic resources and synthetic carrying capacity of resources of Shandong Provinces, from 1978 to 1998, have been calculated, their evolutionary have been described. Thus conclusions were drawn:(1) the economics resources is the principal resources to support population and the synthetic carrying capacity has been the state of relative enough; (2)the synthetic carrying capacity of the province had surpassed its real population and the province had gone into the state of relative enough from 1982.
