Study on the Base of Relative Carrying Capacity of Resources and Problems of Sustainable Development in Shandong Province

There were several defects in the past research on the carrying capacity of resources,so this paper adopts the calculating methods of relative carrying capacity of resources.The relative carrying capacity of land resources,relative carrying capacity of economic resources and synthetic carrying capacity of resources of Shandong province from 1986 to 2002 have been calculated.Based on the evolvement of relative carrying capacity of resources,this paper analyses the problems existing in the sustainable development of Shandong province,and puts forward the countermeasures for sustainable development.Thus,studies have shown: ①The synthetic relative carrying capacity of resources has been the state of being enough from 1986 to 2002 of Shandong province and the relative carrying capacity of economic resources is the principal resources to support the synthetic relative carrying capacity of resources.The synthetic relative carrying capacity of resources is very different in three regions of Shandong and the Eastern region is in the state of being relatively enough.② The economic growth method is an extensive management pattern,the regional difference is to enlarge and the resources are poor,which are the main problems of sustainable development of Shandong province.③ Increasing economic development moderately,stabilizing the synthetic carrying capacity of resources and coordinating regional development are the key to realizing the sustainable development of Shandong province.The conclusion of this paper may provide scientific reference for the government of Shandong to make decisions and offer theoretically reference to regional sustainable development.
