Observe the effect of irbesartan combined with amlodipine in the treatment of 38 cases essential hypertension

Objective To investigate the effect of irbesartan combined with amlodipine in treatment of essential hypertension. Methods 76 patients with essential hypertension were randomly divided into two groups, the observation group (amlodipine+irbesartan) and the control group(amlodipine),and the antihypertensive effect was compared. Results After treatment, total effective rate in observation group was 94.7%, was significantly higher than the control group(76.3%).SBP and DBP were significantly lower than those before treatment in the two groups, the observation group was more obvious,the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion Amlodipine combined with irbesartan in the treatment of essential hypertension has a synergistic effect, the tolerance of patients is good, security is high.It is worthy of promotion and application.
