Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the prevalence rate of Mycoplasma infection and the susceptibility to common antimicrobial drugs in JiaXing area,to direct rational use of antibiotics. METHODS A total of 1869 samples of the genitourinary tract secretion from nongonococcal urethritis patients were identified as Ureaplasma urealyticum and Mycoplasma hominis.Drug susceptibility to 9 common antibiotics were detected as well. RESULTS The total positive rate of Mycoplasma infection was 38.5%,of the total pure Uu infection was 89.6%,of pure Mh infection was 1.1%,of Uu combine Mh infection was 9.3%.There is significant difference between each two groups(P0.01).The infection rate of female was 43.2%,of male was 28.5%.Susceptibility rate from high to low was pristinamycin 99.2%,josamycin 97.9%,doxycycline 95.4%,tetracycline 93.8%,clarithromycin 79.7%,azithromycin 65.3%,erythromycin62.2%,ofloxacin 9.0% and ciprofloxacin 3.9%. CONCLUSION Mycoplsma infection in Jiaxing is primarily caused by Uu,and female infection rate is higher than the male.To periodically summarize and analyze the pathogen and monitoring data of its susceptibility and timely feedback to the clinic has great significance for rational use antibiotics and delay the emergence of drug resistant organism.
