Abstract
Objective To compare Vanadate Oxidation and improve J G method in determination of bilirubin. Methods Vanadate Oxidation was used to determinied serum total bilirubin and direct bilirubin meanwhile, the method was compared with improved J G method. Results Vanadate oxidation was well correlated to improved K G method (Y 1=0.99X+1.39, r=0.98; Y 2=1.36 X+3.09, r=0.96) linear range of total bilirubin and direct bilirubin were 1.80 % and 2.13 %. The out date CV for total bilirubin and direct bilirubin were 99.6 % and 99.2 %. Hemoglobin, lipidemia and low concentration vitamin C less than 0.3 g/L did not significantly interfere with the detection. Conclusion Vanadata Oxidation is accurance and sensitivitv, and can be used in rountine determination of bilirubin
