Abstract
Objective: To study the effect of Kangxinan Ruangan Granule (KXRGG) on platelet derived growth factor induced the cell cycle and intracellular calcium concentration. Methods: Flow cytometry and Calcium probe were used to analyse the proliferation and intracellular calcium concentration of HSC cultured in an absolutely serum free medium. Results s PDGF induced the proliferation of HSC and the increasing of intracellular calcium concentration were inhibited significantly in KXRGG treated group, especially in 5mg/ml KXRGG group as compared with control group. Conclusion: KXRGG inhibits the proliferation of HSC by influencing the intracellular concentration of calciam induced by PDGF.
